JOIN THE BOOK FORUM!
Click Here To Visit The Book Forum Message Board! Hello My Friends!
I am excited to announce to everyone the creation of "The Book Forum" book club and discussion board! Using a robust application called "SimpleMachineForum," The Book Forum site is a particularly easy and fun way to exchange information and ideas about books we are reading as a group, as well as individuals. The site features a "book club" which will present a selected work that will be read and discussed on a monthly basis! Suggestions for "featured titles" will be taken from all members, and active book club members will vote on which selections will be featured each month.
The purpose of The Book Forum website is not limited to the "in-tandem" reading of works of literature both new and old, it is also a site to discuss books that we are reading as individuals, and related topics we care to broach! There are multiple forums on the discussion board, including a forum for "User Books" in which you can submit your recent literary endeavors for discussion!
I am very excited about the prospect of sharing reading experiences with my friends not only here in the Bay Area, but all over the country as well (ATL, CHI-town, what what!). The message board and book club’s online format makes it ideal for exchanging views with friends across the country, and indeed the globe! I encourage you all to take a look at the site, register for an account, and start discussing! I believe the site is laid out in a visual stimulating way with intuitive navigation and controls that make The Book Forum not only functional, but FUN as well!
Please join us as we embark upon a fascinating journey through each other’s literary interests, learning more about each other in the process!
Look forward to conversing with you!
Sincerely, Jack Harper jackharp@gmail.com http://www.jackharper.org/books

PS I will be posting an FAQ soon, but the "HELP" link from the main page of the discussion board provides some great information about using the forum, as well as tips on using the Rich Text post controls. Please email me if you have any questions or problems getting started...
